Position: Senior Solution Architect – Data & Analytics
Location: Santa Ana, CA (Onsite – 4 days per week)
Type: Contract
Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect with 15–20 years of expertise in data and analytics. This role will lead an onsite engagement for a data transformation program, working closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable BI and data solutions. The candidate will guide data foundation build-out, support advanced analytics initiatives, and ensure smooth communication with the offshore delivery team. Heavy experience in cloud presales is required.
Key Responsibilities:

Work with business teams to define reporting, analytics, and conversational BI requirements

Assess current BI and data architecture and define the target-state design

Oversee development of data pipelines, semantic layers, and reporting assets

Support adoption of advanced analytics including statistical, ML, and LLM-driven insights

Ensure strong governance, DevOps readiness, and infrastructure-as-code deployment practices

Act as the primary onsite liaison for requirement clarification and stakeholder communication

Drive collaboration between onsite and offshore delivery teams
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong background in enterprise data warehousing and BI architecture

Expertise in data modeling for analytics (dimensional and semantic modeling)

Hands-on knowledge of ETL/ELT patterns and orchestration

Deep understanding of data governance, metadata management, security, and IAM
-
Experience with enterprise BI tools (Looker preferred or similar platforms)

Awareness of AI/ML techniques for insight automation and anomaly detection

Strong understanding of DevOps practices for data (CI/CD, version control, code-based delivery)

Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms (GCP preferred; BigQuery familiarity a plus)

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and requirement discovery skills

Ability to operate effectively in an onsite–offshore model
Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of LLM or Conversational BI enablement

Experience working with financial or operational data environments
