hello - introductions

just added to the group. I'm bob phillips, living in Portland. off at
the coast for the weekend. this
email is used mostly for google buzz, wave. google reader. I'll look
in on tumblr to see about making
a construction blog.

last week I picked up a gyro module, as well as a duemilanove board
and usbnode/wireless node
to play with when I return home. (from moderndevice).

I'll have to dig out my old soldering station from the pile in the
basement and clean off a bench
space. got to make up the wireless node.

it's good to hear that you're local; there's a handful of portland folks in the group too, so hopefully we can all meetup and have a kit building party!

also, aren't you a monomist? i have the feeling i've met you before, but can't quite place it. i think there might be a few monome players out there...

excited to hear you already got some parts! the gyroscope seems like a lot of fun...
