portland meetup, blips!

hello portland velosynth people,

thinking about having a meetup sometime soon, before the rain starts
up. we can host it at EFFALO HQ in NE portland. perhaps sometime
towards the end of october / early november?

a good goal might be to get everyone's units up and running to the
point that we can do a group ride with the blips application:

we could do a group ride and make a giant chorus of blips. it'll be
interesting to see how alls the sounds interact; in a group setting
the blips should begin to phase in and out as we all approach a
collective velocity. should be fun!

This sounds fun, but I havent put mine together yet :( I may need the next few weeks for halloween costume assembly, I dont know if I could put it together in time for an Oct/Nov ride.

jenn — no worries, we have a few extra units that you can borrow for the ride. if you bring your kit by, we can help you build it, too. once we hear back from the other portland folk we can nail down a date.
