Hi everybody :)

I also found out about velosynth through KickStarter. Im really
excited about the project as it brings together some of my primary
interests - electronics, music and cycling! Ive wanted to play with
arduino-type stuff for some time now, this seemed like a great
opportunity. Im also in Portland, looking forward to meeting the
other locals :) Cant wait to get my kit!

Hey Guys, my name's Garrett. I live in Boston but am originally from Medford Oregon. Sounds like we're all that Northwest wavelength, but unfortunately I won't be able to make those meet ups unless it's sometime between aug 17-26th (the only time I'll be in Oregon this summer).

Looking forward to a fun project, I've never worked with arduino before but have wanted to for some time now.

howdy jenn and garrett,

great to have y'all on board! this will surely be a great way to get started with the arduino, although the jeenode we'll be using in the kits is a little bit more low level when compared to a standard arduino.
