I’m not doing the DAMn this year, but Chris Brunholz and I thought we ought to do a ride in support of our local masochists. So, we’re going to start in Lanesboro at the same time (midnight Fri/Sat), ride a couple of 3 hour loops (returning to the cars for food, water, batteries etc) and then meet a few other people to ride the Filthy 50 course. Depending on how we feel we may keep going until we get an even 12 hours out of this.

Misery loves company, so if anyone would like to join us, let me know or just be in the Lanesboro bike path parking lot in time to leave at midnight sharp. I will probably end up making Garmin courses for this, since I can imagine getting disoriented in the wee early morning down there.

For those of you doing the DAMn- good luck, stay safe, and have the best socially distanced ride possible!!!

A
