Non governmental organization the “Energy Efficiency Foundation” (EEF) announces the tender regarding invitation of a potential partner (either juridical or physical person) for joint management of the organization. A winner in the tender will have access on all opportunities of EEF and may manage the organization directly on base of agreement with existent founder (partner) of the organization. Consequently a winner will take a position of cofounder (partner) and general manager of EEF.

Brief description of the organization:

• Ministry of Justice of Georgia initially registered the Energy Efficiency Foundation (EEF) on March 25, 1995 as a non-governmental and non-profit organization. The registration number: 1979.
• Ministry of Justice registered EEF anew in compliance with the law as a non-governmental and non-commercial Foundation on December 31, 1998. The registration number: 295
• EEF sets the goal of supporting energy conservation and efficient planning and utilization of renewable energy in Georgia.
• The priorities of the organization are: elaboration, implementation and supporting research, educational, informational, consulting, and demonstrational projects in area of energy conservation, efficient planning and utilization of renewable energy and energy security; creation and development of energy audit opportunities; supporting the business in energy conservation and energy trade.
• EEF has implemented many small scale grant projects and has made works to order;
• EEF has prepared new projects and project ideas;
• The Organization has: account in a bank, emblem, blank and seal;
• EEF has not debts;
• EEF currently has not a grant, an order, or other active financial sources.

Brief description of main office recourses of EEF that will be accessible for the winner:

• Address: 24 S. Chiqovani str, first floor, 0171 Tbilisi, Georgia;
• General area: 100 square meter;
• Beautiful view to the Mziuri park;
• Garage for a car;
• Office furniture for 5 workers;
• Office techniques: Computer, scanner, printer, city telephone.

First main requirements to a participant of the tender:

• High level of European, American or other developed country’s education in management of organization;
• Successful experience and high competence in  management of organization (Successful experience and high competence in  strategic planning, good relationship with donors, businessmen and governmental structures, fundraising,  projects design and implementation);
• High and well-grounded motivation of work in energy conservation and renewable energy (for example, successful experience in energy field or well-knowledge of energy problems, own projects for implementation etc );
• Willingness to contribute to the Foundation some material or financial contribution in accordance with the law.

Note: Potential candidate who meets abovementioned First main requirements within the very short-term period must draw up:

• Realistic short-term concept of the EEF’s development (as minimum for 6 months);
• Realistic strategic concept of the EEF’s  development (as minimum for 3 years).

We should support the EEF to become donor in the near future in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy. For that, it is highly desirable to have some guarantees from potential candidate to ensure the success of the EEF in near future.
