Invisible Spaces, Cursor far away

Mike,

This is a strange one. 
I just joined an engagement with a previously installed server running V 0.72.4.  

As soon as I log in and when I go to any notebook, I see that the font is one I have never seen before. 
My cursor can not be placed in the right position (notice that is on top of the letter), is not acting normally and the end of the lines are further away from the actual end. 
It almost feels like the cell is out of sync.  

I have already looked at the "configure editor" and I don't see anything out of the norm.  
Before I contact the administrator...  Have you ever seen this issue before?  Pictures attached!

We did have some issues like that before - does it do that for all the themes? sometimes changing themes will change the fonts.

Nope, not all of the themes.  Ncurses is not displaying the behavior and that theme appears to be normal.  
I assume that an upgrade to the latest version will probably fix the issue.  If so, I will recommend that to the client.
