Hello *,
This morning, my Velociraptor instance did not work. After a few checks and a reboot, I saw this error:
[ERROR] 2022-10-21T08:37:15Z ScanForNewSnapshots: open /opt/velociraptor/client_idx/snapshots: no such file or directory
Any idea about this?
The server seems running:
# ps aux|grep velo
velocir+ 3689 0.0 0.0 6972 3392 ? Ss 08:37 0:00 /bin/bash /usr/local/bin/velociraptor --config /etc/velociraptor/server.config.yaml frontend
velocir+ 3691 0.0 0.9 5461548 38208 ? Sl 08:37 0:00 /usr/local/bin/velociraptor.bin --config /etc/velociraptor/server.config.yaml frontend
velocir+ 3722 0.7 1.8 5463740 74880 ? Sl 08:37 0:01 /usr/local/bin/velociraptor.bin --config /etc/velociraptor/server.config.yaml frontend
... but I can’t connect to the web interface!

After scratching my head and diving deeper, I found the problem. The X509 cert in my server config YAML expired! I had to run the frontend in verbose mode to see the error :(
Key rotated and update the YAML... All good now! Sorry for the noise!
