Hi Asaf,

recently I was trying to compile velo from sources I've downloaded
from github. It seems to me that binary version of Velo 1.4
(downloadable from sourceforge) is not built from master branch, nor
any of the available release source codes. There is also discrepancy
in date of last commit (August 2008) and the release of Velo 1.4 (July
2009). Can you please post the link to the sources the binary version
1.4 was built from?

Thanks.

Hello Peter,

You are right, github repo have not pulled the content from its
origin,
I will take care of it today,

Hello Asaf,

I tried to download the updated sources of version 1.4, but I was not
able to find the updated ones (I've got only the old ones). I am
downloading the master sources from URL http://github.com/identity/velo.
Can you please confirm that location as a valid one for obtaining the
1.4 version sources?

Thanks.

Peter,

You are right, we are using the repository inside RedHat, I will try
to figure out why the public GitHub repo does not pull from our
internal repo,

Guys, what do you think to create a Maven2 project starting from this
sources ...
I already started to do something about and personally, I didn't found
any particular problem.

Probably someone can suggest the minimal set of files (jsp, html,
jar ...) to be included into the ear.
Having also their right position into the archive is sure better.

I do think that a Maven2 is better than Ant for project like VELO.
Agree?

F.

Hello Fabio,
Agree, the ticket system is down for a while but we already have a
ticket for switching from Ant to Maven, and we will, in Velo2, that is
being designed right now,

Thanks!
