to Velo
Some people asked me around why Jboss,

Velo was originally developed under Glassfish server (Sun open source
app server),

While Glassfish is a great implementation of a JavaEE app server, its
version 2 is still under BETA, and we were not so sure how many
production implementations available with this version(if any), on the
other hand, Jboss is definitely the most famous and mostly used open
source Java application server available nowadays and its stability is
proven in many big organizations.

Next, we needed many other facilities, for instance a Workflow engine,
while Glassfish has beta support already for JBI, it is still beta,
and too complex for our needs,

Jboss comes with a great workflow engine(JBPM) and a designer, which
makes Velo business processes design and deployment very simple and
straight forward,

There are many other reasons around, but these are the main points,

We hope the movement to Jboss will make Velo deployment easier for
those that are familiar with Jboss and already have Jboss facilities
in their business,

Regards,

Asaf.
