Description: What is the difference between "Online" and "Offline"?
Online = Computer (or PLC) is in charge of the VXM (Yellow "Online" LED is lit, and you can not jog the motors from the front panel)
Offline = Yellow "Online" LED is turned off and you can jog the motors from the front panel
It is important to note that there are several different ways to bring the VXM "Online"
E = Online with "Echo On" (See "Echo On - Echo Off" tutorial for details)
F = Online with "Echo Off" (See "Echo On - Echo Off" tutorial for details)
G = On-Line with echo off and grouping a carriage return with "^", ":", "W", "O" responses
There is only one way to bring the VXM offline
Q = Offline ("Online" LED is turned off and you can jog the motors from the front panel)
