I consistently have this problem when I download a script (of any size) into my VXM.  Using either COSMOS or Hyperterminal, I get a "buffer overrun" error the first attempt.  Then, without power cycling, I simply repeat the download attempt and then I'm successful.

What is going on here?

Rob,
Can you post the script that you are sending?
I should know just by looking at the script

Rob,
I tried your code when I got home, and can not get it to fail
If you take out the "R" so that the program does not run, do you get the overflow in both COSMOS and Hyperterminal still?

If the answer is yes, then power-cycle the VXM and change your "E" to an "F" and try again and see if the problem now goes away in both COSMOS and Hyperterminal?
