Today will be my last working day with Computer Associates (That’s how I know CA)

I carry back lots of memories of wonderful moments around from CA and Hyderabad.

 

Three and half years in CA and Hyderabad. Though it is a small stint compared to those intelligent and dedicated people whom I got to meet and work here, it definitely defined a new way of life for me.

 

STAR, our ‘Home-grown’ classical illustration of Enterprise Service and Support Management using System Z, would always remain close to my heart.

Proportional to the billion transactions STAR runs in a day or 8000 requests per second, I too had countless learning’s and ideas being with it. Thanks to Maryellen Birdsey for being the ‘STAR’ for me.

Happy that I could serve 600 distinct users directly over 1200 tickets and countless users indirectly too. Proud to be being part of such a great and powerful tool which redefines the use of System Z to me.

 

Hyderabad has always been big warm enough accommodate me immediately and increased my friends exponentially. Will miss Hyderabad in many ways.

 

Cricket at CA – It has been my source of energy and get-up-and-go factor. Playing for CA made me to visit all corners of Hyderabad. Thanks to everyone whom I played with.

 

Once again Acknowledgements to CA, Colleagues, Friends and thanks to my family and friends back home who are my pillar of strength. And I wish every one of you more success.
