Kidde offers a non-Halon fire extinguisher for waste bins in aircraft lavatories. The G800100 and G825100 series are drop-in replacements for the Halon A800100 and A825100 units in many legacy aircraft fleets.

The G800100 and G825100 series extinguishers for Boeing and Bombardier aircraft utilize proven, existing hardware. In the event of a fire in waste bin receptacles, the extinguisher activates automatically at 170F (77C). Inert nitrogen under pressure propels the extinguishant via discharge nozzles, which are configured by aircraft model. To extinguish the fire, discharge lasts between 3 and 5 seconds.

The DT3101W-HAB is a Kidde Excellence series, signal white addressable heat detector with integrated short circuit isolation. It supports EN54 Class A with static and rate-of-rise temperature response, as well as Class B with rate-of-rise response.
