One very inspiring and hopeful finding is that at the 2015 Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee, four out of the first five speakers on the second day promoted a plant based diet. A few years ago, I was fortunate to spend a weekend at the Real Truth About Health Conference in NYC where I learned exactly why a plant based diet is the way to go. It is not only about our own health but the healing of Mother Earth. The information is out there. We need to take right action. We need to learn from and be open to the best minds in the field.
