Am a newly allergic patient to eggs, thus the vegan wines are a must. Had 'Yellowtail' Merlot last night - doesn't agree with me at all! Trader Joes is my market to buy wines at...who can heartily recommend a merlot, or cab??New Vegan

| Vintage Roots are a great organic and biodynamic wine supplier who also notify clearly all of their wines which are suitable for vegans. They can also do commercial wholesale as well as domestic- see vintageroots.co.uk and ask for Ewan- he is great. Alternatively- pop down to my restaurant where we have a full organic and vegan selection exclusively from Vintage Roots. See www.root-master.co.uk for more info. Hope this helps Sylvia Garcia Managing Director |
Have a good continuation, all.
No, don't do that, there are loads of fantastic vegan friendly wines out there. Try the Co-op own brands - if they are vegan they will be labelled - the fair trade ones are good. Or there is a company called Vinceremos who I order all my wine from - all their wines are vegetarian and most are vegan and clearly identifiable from their website. http://www.vinceremos.co.uk/ |
There are some good reds from Sainsbury as well - a few of their own label wines are clearly marked Vegan.
