After last year’s highly-praised Bach concert in Lauzerte, pianist Joanna Goodale returns this year with a programme of Debussy, a composer who reinvented musical language, drawing his inspiration from nature and the music of the Far East.
Joanna will be performing the works of Debussy together with her own compositions inspired by him, combining the piano with gongs and Tibetan bowls.
This concert will be given by Joanna for the benefit of the association Aide et Espoir/ Help and Hope, which supports the cause of refugees all over the world.

Après son concert de Bach très réussi l’année dernière, la pianiste Joanna Goodale revient cet automne pour nous proposer un programme avec
Debussy, compositeur qui a réinventé le langage et le temps musical en s’inspirant librement de la Nature et des musiques de l’Extrême-Orient. Comme le déclarait Debussy, “la musique est un art libre, un art jaillissant, un art de plein air, un art à la mesure des éléments, du vent, du ciel et de la mer!"
DEBUSSY EN RESONNANCE est une invitation à ressentir la Nature, une immersion au coeur des éléments, particulièrement de l'eau, à travers l'univers de Debussy et des sonorités d'Asie, mêlant à tour de rôle le piano aux gongs et aux bols tibétains, selon une trajectoire narrative inspirée par le musicien.
Ce concert sera donné par Joanna au profit de l'association Aide et Espoir/Help and Hope, qui soutient la cause des réfugiés partout dans le monde.
