For the record, Prasanna said he can be present as a volunteer to man a booth in Walnut Creek, but he can't organize it.

The retreat was wonderful. You certainly have the touch with finding retreat sites that are so harmonious for Vedika!

For clarification, did Prasanna decline to make the initial investigation on the Walnut Creek booth after you gave him the article?  I thought that was how it was left, knowing that the organizing would be supported by others once he found out more detail.  Just curious where this item stands.  Thanks.

You all are very fast on the email!  I started to respond to the earlier emails but due to interruptions I was beat to the punch as they say...

Shunyaji, you are exactly right although I am wiling to do whatever is needed.  In fact, that is an eventful date in that it is also the date of one of Sanjaiji's cooking classes , where I have been helping out.  But I am sure we can work out all of the details for the best solution....

This is almost like an actual meeting in terms of elapsed time!  The only difference is at an actual meeting you have to wait your turn and in this case, the risk is saying something that is already 3 emails behind!

And maybe we should explore having conference calls once in a while if we don't always keep up this email pace...

Bhairavi is doing the research - she has already started - and will also handle the set up and other logistics if we decide to go ahead.

i feel we could also consider  Prasanna's idea of conf call say bi weekly that will cut down on routine small logistical emails  and also  sub groups can also talk amongst themselves using this facility - these conf calls can also be recorded and send as am Mp 3 file later to any one who wants them

Physical meetings should be limited to one a quarter in 2012 what do you say?

Jai Ma Everyone,

The tendency on these group emails is to create a barage of emails as many people weigh in on a subject, sometimes causing a bit of indigestion.  This morning I have taken pause to realize that my email asking for clarification on the Walnut Creek venue was not well-timed or well-stated.  I had also forgotten that the email gets distributed to everyone, not just my intended recipient.  Next time, I will wait before responding so quickly and discriminate whether such a response is necessary on my part.  Hema's email was complete as it was, and it would have become apparent who was taking charge of the Walnut Creek venue at some point.
