Hello!
Hope you are enjoying this beautiful November day!
This morning I made 12 Ayuvedic Burritos (Yes, I made up the recipe... They are delicious by the way... Let me know if you want the recipe)
Then I wrapped them up and handed them out to hungry people at Occupy Oakland with a 2 month course flier ;)
Not a bad way to advertise right?! People were so grateful, it felt amazing!
Also, I am not sure if you all saw, but I posted my video on You Tube, and shared it with facebook this morning. In case you didn't get a chance to view it yet, here is the
link...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBVIozKSbAM
It was super fun to make!
I think that it would have been better if I had done a few things differently,
1. Gotten better shots of the colorful food and spice kit.
2. I should have said to add more water when needed.
3. I wish I would have mentioned Vedika Global at the beginning of the video as well.
4. Wish it was a bit shorter.
You live you learn right!
Here are some suggestions on topics people could use for their videos.
1. Hot water
2. Spiced Milk
3. Waking up early
4. Meditation
5. Mantra
6. grocery bill being lower than before you took the class
7. personal relationships ( growth and change)
8. self love
9. Oiling the body ( maybe a live demo is not the best approach for this one ;)
May I also suggest making a video with a partner, I think it would be more fun to watch 2 people interacting!
If you do not have access to a video camera, or feel too busy to fit it into your schedule Ripa will be at Vedika tomorrow after 3:30pm, and is willing to film you discussing the topic of your choice. I think for this option, we should have it filmed in different locations so that all of the videos look different. Example, 1 person outside talking about oiling. Another person by the altar talking about meditation. Another person in the kitchen talking about spices... You get the picture :)
Okay, I think that covers it.
Have a wonderful day!
Love always,
Mahi
