Jai Ma fellow Mitras,

I wanted to send you more information about the video uploads. Thanks to all those who sent the minutes from the meeting. I wanted to outline the protocol for personal video uploads:

1) Uploading to Youtube: Personal experience videos about your experiences with Vedika or with a recipe you've tried should go to your personal Youtube account (you can use your gmail id) and not Vedika's Youtube account.

2) Linking on Vedika's Website: Once uploaded, please send the Youtube link to Aparna for approval. After she approves, Mahi will send it to Yuko for uploading on the Website under the "shishya" section. Mahi --> In order to streamline the process and better utilize Yuko's time (which is paid for), please send requests to her in a batch (of at least 5 videos)

3) Posting on Facebook/Twitter: Do not share the video link directly on Facebook. Please wait till Yuko has put the video on the Vedika website. Find your video under the "Videos->Vedika Shishya" section and copy your video link on the Vedika site. This is the link you can share on Facebook. The intent is to let people know that the videos are connected to Vedika and make it easy for them to see other Vedika content.

Please let me know if you have any questions about this protocol.

Love,
Shaaranya

Great! Thank you for these clear instructions. I hope people start to make videos soon! I think I'm the only one so far.
Looking forward to Sunday! Xx

Dear Mitras,

Thanks for the encouragement to keep filming, Shaaranyadidi and Mahi! We will have camera on hand tomorrow and Shunyaji and/or I will announce that Somikbhai and I will love to film people during retreat break(s), as it will be a wonderful time to capture some of the many joys of our past year of study in particular...so please take time to reflect on the highlight(s) of your year today and come prepared to shine on camera tomorrow - as many suffering souls can potentially benefit from your willingness to step out of the smallness and comfort zone of shyness and into the brightness of light that is the truth of your very being! :)

An announcement will also be made tomorrow (which I thought I'd let you all know in advance, especially for those who won't be physically present with us tomorrow) warmly inviting everyone to support our Vedika open house on Sunday, Dec 4th from 3:30-5:30pm and our next Mitra meeting just before, from 1pm until open house. The agenda for this meeting:
  • 1-2pm: Open with a circle of sharing around Ayurveda/Vedika successes and vidya integration
  • 2-pm-until open house: Brief Mitra mtg. followed by creative, collaborative time to work on blog contributions together
So please mark your calendars for the 4th and do come if you can - there will be chai! :)

With Love and Gayatri Blessings,
Ripa
