Greetings from Bhaktivedanta Institute Kolkata.
We are happy to announce our upcoming summer school from July 3–7, 2023, on an
interesting theme of – “Unfolding the Mystery of Memory”. We are encouraging
participation in physical mode, the location being ancient and beautiful site
of Nabadwip, which is around 120 kms from Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
This amazing five-day summer school would offer to ponder over multi-fold aspects of memory across various disciplines including neuroscience, medicine, physics, psychology, computer science and artificial intelligence, and spirituality. The school would prove to be instrumental in fostering multidisciplinary viewpoints through priceless exchanges with outstanding researchers from top institutes/ universities across the globe. The list of speakers includes Prof. Earl K. Miller from MIT, USA (Picower Professor of Neuroscience); Prof. Mayank Mehta from UCLA, USA (Professor in the Department of Physics and Astronomy, Neurology, Neurobiology); Prof. Neil Burgess from University College London, UK (Professor of Cognitive Neuroscience); Prof. Neeraj Jain from IIT Jodhpur, India (Professor in the Department of Bioscience and Bioengineering); Prof. Jayasri Das Sarma from IISER Kolkata, India (Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences) and many more.
Additionally, it would be an excellent opportunity to learn about the rich Indian heritage of the amazing locations of Nabadwip and Mayapur.
