  It was of 3 rounds...

  1) Apps (online test)

  2) GD

  3) HR

   

  APPS

   There were around 5 or 6 sections in the apps ppr

   

  The apps was a bit on the easier side :)totally 56 ques to be answered in 60 mins..... more of logical reasoning questions and only 12 Quants questions..... can clear it easily if u think with logic..

   

  After completing the online test we were asked to attend a speed test consisting of 15 ques to answered in 10 mins.

   

  mostly questions based on the which figure comes next type and dice figure problems....

  then some questions on ordering(like A B C D are to sit in a straight row.. A cannot sit next to B and all those stuff).... and some questions on areas... and many more

   

  the speed test had only two types of questions... Key Dictionary and Swapping... very easy 

   

   

  after a long long wait the people came for giving the presentation ... a very nice presentation... (the students must interact with the person)... those students have an hidden advantage...

   

   

  then they anounced the selected candidates names... totally 49 were selected... 

   

  wen they announced the names itself they said in which GD batch tht student was...

  my gd batch had 8 students... 

   

  first the representative from the company (Julia) started talking very friendly and then after around a minute she asked us to suggest a topic... but none of us said anything :) :) :) so finally she itself gave the topic 

   

  THE EDUCATION SYSTEM IN INDIA OR US??? WHICH DO U PREFER?

   

  one girl started the discussion ... she spoke well ... she talked about the US System.... then i spoke about the INDIAN System... spoke two good points and then another student was talking and half way through Julia excused herself and asked for the filled-in data sheet (similar to the bio data) that was given to us previously... 4 of us (including me) had kept it outside ... so we went out to take it.... i took that and entered the room again... gave it to her and sat back in my place...

   

  surprisingly she stopped the GD right away and started asking questions like a HR to each one of us according to our data sheets... I was lucky because i got very easy and basic questions.. but not everyone were as lucky..

   

  Julia: Praveen, u r from computer science background ryt?

  Me: ya mam.

  J: how good are you in programming?

  M: i'm very confident about my programming skills mam

  J: wht prog languages do u kno?

  M: C,C++ and Java 

  J: of these 3 which do u kno the best?

  M: im good in Java mam

  J: Ok. Who developed Java

  M: Sun Microsystems 

  J: No, i'm not asking the company, i'm asking the name of the person who  developed it.

  M: (i smiled) thought for a second and said sorry mam, I Dont Know :)

  J: (she smiled back) so ok fyn... is sun microsystem still operating

  M: no mam, it was bought by Oracle last year .

  J: okay wht are the OOPs Concepts

  M: (said some 5 concepts and then smiled)

  J:( she too smiled and then began writing somethin on my data sheet)

   

  she pinned two more sheets to my data sheet (later i came to know tht it was my apps result) and kept it on one side ... she had kept the other sheets on another side

   

  i got the confidence that i cleared GD after seein  tht :) :) 

   

  then other candidates wer also asked questions.... two girls wer asked so many questions... some wer very difficult to counter those types.... so speak carefully... she is attacking you based on wht you say...

   

  two minutes after we came out ... the result was anounce for our batch.... 3 students from my batch cleared ... (in the next batch 6 students out of 8 wer selected ... heard tht all of them talked well)... so mostly they will select if you speak confidently...

  was waiting for a long long long time for my turn... finally my name was called around 8.30 pm...

  the person who was to interview me(Krishna) was the Chennai head of tht company... He was the person who took tht presentation in the morning.... (i had answered one question during the presentation).... i was praying tht he should remember my face.... i walked in with confidence written all over me even though i was very nervous :) :) 

   

  Me: Excuse me Sir ... May i come in ?

  Krishna: ya ...(gave me a hand shake)... take your seat

  K: How good are you today?

  M: feeling very confident sir :)

  K: ok... say something about you which is not in this sheet (pointing to my data sheet )

  M: told all stuff about my native and my school education

  K: so u are a computer science student... how did u get into this stream

  M: told some stories abt mu scl days wer i was appreciated for my interest in programming...

  K: now a different question for u.... how will u explain the concept of CLASSes to ur grand mother who doesn't kno anythin abt computers..

  M: i was litterally stunned,.... blabbered a lot ... i knew i messed it up very much :( :(

  K: okay if i paln to include sri perumpudur into the chennai corporation and i have to lay sewage lines across the whole of sri perumbuthur... how can i calculate the length of pipes needed??

   

  M: i took half a minute ... thought very hard .. then started saying.... i will select around 10 ppl who live in and around this place and will ask them to prepare a road map of the place..

   

  K:(clearly he understood that i was just talking without any idea) what for is tht map needed???

   

  M: (suddenly someting striked and i got the point i ws thinking abt) as far as i kno ... 90 % of probablity werever there are roads there will be sewage lines beneath it so if i kno the length of the roads i'll get a rough estimate of the length of pipes needed... :) :)

   

  i knew tht was not the right answer but since i already messed up one question i dint want to stammer again so i spoke with full confidence (the funny part was tht he seemed to like tht answer even though it was not correct)  ... LUCKY ME :)

   

  K: ok wht will u do for the same situation in a place about which no one knows anything and u cannot prepare a road map.

   

  (wht should i answer for this... naturally i dint kno wht to speak )

   

  M: (i just had a broad smile on my lips.... he understood my state of mind and smiled back )

   

  K: he asked me one more question(i forgot tht)

   

  K: do u want to ask me anything

  M: i asked one question based on the presentation he took...

  K: he answered 

  M: thank you sir..

   

  K: he stood up and gave me a firm hand shake ... and i left the cabin walking with a great body language :)

  once i came out of the room i had the jitters again:) :)

   

   

  RESULTS

  after a very long and anxious wait the ppl came with sheets of paper which decided our fate at around 10.30 pm

   

  they gave a short speech...

  then read out the names :) thankfully my name was also called out ... after that i dint realize what was happening around me for the next 10 mins :)

   

   

  totally they took 45 students :)

   

   

  then they called the selected candidaes to a room and cut cake and we had a mini party :) :) :)

   

   

  ALL THE VERY BEST FOR ALL OF THOSE WHO ARE ATTENDING THE CAMPUS INTERVIEW OF THIS COMPANY..... DO WHATEVER U FEEL DOING ... BUT BE CONFIDENT AND BACK URSELF :) :) :)
