FREE Ticket to LEAP for Ghana Fundraiser with Nikki Giovanni

All, 

As some of you know, I am a member of the Literacy Empowerment Action Project (LEAP) for Ghana, which supports a village in eastern Ghana in literacy and girls empowerment work. We are hosting a fundraiser with Nikki Giovanni, who has partnered with us over the last 2 years, TODAY, Tuesday, June 17th from 6pm-8pm at Busboys and Poets (14th & V Street location). At the fundraiser, the Queen Mother of the village will speak, a short documentary of our work will  be shown and  Ms. Giovanni will give a special reading. A relative of mine purchased a few tickets for the fundraiser, but will be unable to attend.  If you or anyone (office interns love FREE) you know is interested in attending, please let me know ASAP.
