Donations for domestic violence shelter

Hello everyone, sorry to sort-of spam the May Day and SDS lists like this. But I, on behalf of the Party for Socialism and Liberation, will be collecting donations for Safe Harbor, a domestic violence shelter for women in Henrico. I will be present to collect donations at the following places and times:

Cheswick Park parking lot (Forest Avenue) on July 23rd at 2PM

Monroe Park (corner of Main and Laurel) on July 30th at 11AM

If you can't make those times, but still want to donate, email me and we can arrange something.

This is something I plan on doing once a month if it works out well. I don't like blasting every Google group under the sun, so it would be cool if those who are interested in this charity project would join the Facebook group (listed on the event page) or ask to join the email list.

In case you are wondering, there aren't any politically affiliated shelters so anyone can donate. I got this cleared with Safe Harbor, so I am fully capable of getting your donations to their workers. Tell your friends!
