Option to temporarily disable VCR ?

Hey,

is there an option (e.g. via env-variable) to temporarily disable VCR so that all tests run against the real backend instead of cassettes?

The idea is that from time to time I want to verify that the ruby code + spec still reflects (a moving) reality.

I do not want to auto-re-record, as I have customized a good deal of cassettes with erb-pieces.
