SyncCenter shows "TYPE_E_LIBNOTREGISTERED" error.

When you have uninstalled an office 2013 installation and you return to office 2010. 

or

When you have uninstalled an office 2010 installation and you return to office 2007. 

Some registry keys and dlls left, which cause the office application to load the wrong dll(s).

On your PC, please check the registry:

If you are using Office 2007, you should only see this

This is for Office 2007 HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{00062FFF-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\9.3

If you are using Office 2010, you should only see this

This is for Office 2010 HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{00062FFF-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\9.4

If you are using Office 2013, you should only see this

This is for Office 2013 HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{00062FFF-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\9.5

E.g.:

If you are using Office 2007, but you see these two entries in your registry

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{00062FFF-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\9.3

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{00062FFF-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\9.4

You need to delete the second entry (HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\{00062FFF-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}\9.4)

Please make sure you have the correct Office typelib entry in your registry. Then, start SyncCenter again.
