Web Portal allows user to access VCO contents from Web Browser on your PC through WiFi or USB:
Here are the feature highlights:
- Create/Delete/Edit Notes, Tasks, Events, Contacts, Categories
- Send SMS to contacts or group of contacts in SmartLinks
- Send Notes, Tasks, Events, Contacts as SMS
- View SMS Logs
- Directory Listing
- Filter items by folders/categories
- Password protection (need to be enabled in Web Portal Settings)
- Support SSL (Self-signed certification for encryption and need to be enabled in Web Portal Settings)
Steps:
- Make sure WiFi is enable on your phone (not the 3g data).
- On VCO Main screen, click the "Web Portal" icon.Then, click the "Start Portal Server" button. You should see a url on the screen which shows the url of web portal, e.g: http://192.168.0.3:8833/portal
- On your PC, start a browser, enter the address that you see on the VCO Web Portal screen. Here is the example:

Remark: You don't need USB Extension to access Web Portal.
Perquisites :
Please make sure your Android Debug Bridge (ADB) is working on your PC, here are the steps to enable it:
- Make sure you have installed the USB Driver on your PC, which usually comes with your phone software (eg. HTC Sync, Samsung Kies, etc)
- On your device, make sure the "USB Debugging" is enabled:
- Click Settings > Applications > Development and make sure USB Debugging is on.
- For Android 4.0+, click on Settings > Developer Options and make sure USB Debugging is on.
- To test whether ADB is working on your PC, on your PC, SyncCenter directory, you should see a adb.exe file.
