VCO syncs the Outlook recurring pattern to VCO Calendar including the exception events. That's why you can edit or create any Outlook style recurring events in VCO and sync back to Outlook.
The recurring instances will be calculated in VCO when you view the events (the recurring events will be cached). Therefore, you can see all the Outlook recurring instances in your VCO Calendar. However, the recurring instances will be synced to Android Calendar as individual events. It's because there is no direct mapping of the recurring format between Outlook and Android Calendars.
We cannot sync all the recurring instances to Android Calendar directly, as it will be too much. Here are information for references:
- Daily Recurring events, the next 10 days instances will be synced to Android Calendar
- Weekly Recurring events, the next 8 weeks instances will be synced to Android Calendar
- Monthly Recurring events, the next 24 months instances will be synced to Android Calendar
- Yearly Recurring events, the next 10 years instances will be synced to Android Calendar
The next recurring instance will be created and add to Android Calendar in the daily job that runs at mid-night. That is, you should always see the next 8 weeks instances of the weekly recurring events in Android Calendar. Of course, you can see all the recurring instances in VCO Calendar.
Data sync from Outlook to both VCO Calendar App and Android Calendar App
- Subject
- Location
- Categories
- Start/End

- Reminder
- Priority (sync to VCO Calender App only)
- Recurring Pattern (sync recurring pattern and exception events to VCO)

Remark:
- By default, reminder will be synced to VCO Calendar only. To sync reminder to Android Calendar, you can enable it in VCO Settings. This is to avoid duplicates of reminders.
- We don't sync recurring events that you have created in Android Calendar to VCO or Outlook. It's because the recurring pattern of Android and Outlook are not compatible.
