"The Raspberry Pi is all the rage for hobbyists in search of cheap, credit card-sized computers that can run a full PC operating system. Arduino boards have been around nearly a decade, meanwhile, powering robots and all sorts of other creative electronics projects."

Projects like this can be used as Beyond the Syllabus demos for courses like Computer Architecture and Operating Systems! We need to make our students - including ME - go beyond the simplicity of Arduino to the more powerful Raspberry Pi. I am glad Dr. Janaki Meena and some other faculty have bought and are trying out the Arduino for FOC class, which is the right stage to get the students hooked on projects-based learning. Hope more faculty will follow suit, with Raspberry Pi.
