Dear VCell users,
As you may know, the 25th online Annual Computational Cell Biology workshop took place February 26-28th. The tutorials on VCell, COPASI and SpringSalad, as well as invited lectures given during the workshop by modelers Yulia Timofeeva (U Warwick), James Sluka (Indiana U) and Kevin Janes (U Virginia) are now available on our YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@compcellbiol8898.
We're happy to announce the 25th in-person Annual Workshop on Computational Cell Biology. It will take place July 22-24, 2024 at the Center for Cell Analysis and Modeling at UConn Health (Farmington, CT). Contrary to the online course, the in-person course will have very few lectures. Instead, we will sit with you helping to design your models and perform simulations. The number of participants is limited to about 12. To be accepted, please email the following information to Dr. Michael Blinov at bli...@uchc.edu by May 30: your name, institution, lab head (if you are a student), and a 1-2 page proposal explaining how you feel VCell, COPASI and/or SpringSalad will help your research project. This info will allow us to determine if the current implementations of our tools apply to your project.
More info is in the attached flyer - please spread the word! There is no registration fee, all meals, and a discounted hotel rate will be provided.
Best regards,
Michael
