Hi Soumik,

The first thing I would suggest is to download a fresh version of SpringSaLaD. Let us know if that solves the problem.

We have actually made some upgrades recently, so it would be good for anyone using SpringSaLaD to install the latest version 2.3.4 at https://vcell.org/ssalad.

Best,

Les

Hello,

I've recently been using Spring Salad to model some basic mechanisms. But I=

=20

run into probelms that Spring salad silently just silently hangs. It shows=

=20

"running" on the simulation manager, but i can see it is using no resources=

=20

and not writing any file to the data folder.

Have any of you run into this issue? I have tried both on Windows and=20

Linux. If its running into some errors is there a verbose mode or something=

=20

so it can output the error somewhere so I can figure out what's wrong?=20

Currently I have to use my cpu load change coupled with no new file writes=

=20

for x amount of time to know that the simulation has silently hung.

I am modelling a system with 40-80 molecules with 7-8 sites each in a box=

=20

of 40x40x40 a total simulation time of 1 second. It currently has 4=20

transition, 8 allosteric and 10 binding reactions.

Best,

Soumik
