A few people have asked about kit list. This is what we would recommend
to bring, and some things not to bring.

You have both asked about a kit lists:

Tent (unless your host village is providing this for you)
 Warm clothes for the evening
 Sleeping Bag
 Mat to sleep on
Plate, bowl, cup (preferably plastic/metal), knife, fork, spoon, tea towel
 Torch
 Rainproof coat
Enough clothes for 12 days and mixed weather (sunny, rainy, hot and cold!)
 Waterproof boots/ shoes
 Washkit and towel
 Suncream
 Hat
 Book
 Teddy bear (optional ;-))
A willingness to get involved and challenge yourself *(see the
activity developed by Ben sent around by Keith for your groups)

Please don't bring large amounts of money, you will not be able to spend
anything on site and money will need up getting lost.
Electrical items will not be able to be charged very easily so its best
to bring as few things that need charging as possible, although if you
want to a phone do but it's brought at your own risk.

Lloyd - I have invited our new development worker to visit Venturer camp
so that she sees the powerpod and the peer educators in action as well
as get an introduction to the organisation - we have just started on
her CRBS and membership but I doubt whether this shall be processed
before she arrives. Is there another protocol available?

Although I am sure she would be happy to camp I am just wondering if
there is staff accommodation and is there going to be any other staff
on site on Wednesday or the Thursday - she is only staying over the one
night.

Many Thanks

Ron
