We have an urgent opening with our client -Permanent Position Skills:=VC++ JD_Job Activities To carry out application development activities such as * Translating business requirements into technical and functional designs using analysis / design skills * Creating technical specification, * Developing code and performing unit test, * Supporting system testing and other testing phases by understanding and resolving defects; and * Supporting implementation planning activities. In addition will be responsible for managing a team of developer ( upto 6) ensuring that * Work allocation to team member is happening correctly * Any issues are documented and escalated to team leader in timely manner * Review and QA the technical specification, code and other technical artefacts being produced by the team * Mentor and coach the team on any complex technical issue Primary Technical skills The role holder will be able to demonstrate competence with the following technologies: Microsoft C++, Visual Studio 2010, C# and the .Net framework versions 2 to 4, XML, TCP and HTTP communications in order to be able to maintain existing and create new trading software solutions. The candidate also needs to have relevant experience with ATL, COM, COM+ and DCOM in order to apply BAU maintenance to existing solutions and to be able to re-engineer existing trading software in modern technologies such as C# and .Net. Functional skills Financial Services experience is desirable but not an absolute must. Training on Wealth Business and Direct Investment platform is mandatory They will also have an understanding of software development life cycle, experience of handling a team, ability to articulate technical issues and help in problem resolution. Language & other important skills relevant to role Good command over English with sound verbal and written communication.
