AUSTIN TX

Contract

9+ Months        

Rate: $50/hr on C2C

"Description:

 

Cerner Data Extraction, SQL, ETL, PowerShell

Primary Responsibilities:

•In this role you will own data extraction, transmission, automation, and integration improvement projects from the data analytics perspective.

•Collaborate with clients to stand up staging servers for data extraction and automation

•Communicate directly with clients (from technical to executive level) to resolve complicated data issues.

•Conduct gap analysis to compare the clients’ data structure and content to that of the standard expected for that EMR, billing, or adjudicated claims data source.

•Develop Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) code, primarily in SQL and PowerShell, but also in JavaScript, Cerner Command Language (CCL), Spark SQL, and other technologies.

•Work with other functional teams including marketing, development, client services, and product management to improve client satisfaction across multiple dimensions.

•Master the functionality of the business intelligence tool and develop expertise in product terrain.

•Ability to travel at least 5% for onsite meetings in other locations

 

Required Qualifications:

•Hands on experience in Cerner data extraction, including Cerner Command Language (CCL), DVDev, Cerner Database, OPS Scheduler, and/or Olympus

•Hands on experience writing SQL queries (One or more of the following MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle)

•Experience working as a key team member or in a technical lead capacity in a large-scale, cross-functional project

•Demonstrable history of using analytical reasoning, quantitative analysis, and creativity to solve challenging problems

•Technical aptitude for learning new technologies

 

Preferred Qualifications:

•Experience in a healthcare vertical

•Experience programming, preferably with JavaScript, Java, Python, or PERL

•Knowledge of one or more of the leading provider EMR systems including eClinicalWorks (eCW), Epic, Cerner, GE, Allscripts, Meditech, and McKesson

•Experience with AWS or Azure

•Experience with data streaming, automation and scripting, including PowerShell, batch scripting"
