Position: Java Python Developer
Location: Pleasanton, CA
Duration: Long Term

Must Have Skills: (With Minimum rating)
Java, Java Core – Scale 8/10
Python Scripting – Scale 8/10
Shell Scripting – Scale 7/10

Daily Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a set of tools that enable developers to self-serve for most operational tasks.
• Collaborate with developers/interns to bring new features and services into production
• Developing and monitoring policies and standards and evaluating / implementing potential new tools and technologies.
• Develop automated monitoring and notification for products and Platform that help Ops team respond quickly and effectively to any problems.

Should Have:

• Strong scripting skills, preferably Java, Python, JavaScript, Sharepoint
• Demonstrated advanced experience in automating processes/systems and integration strategies
• Utilize SDK tools available with EAS offered ETL/BI Tools and develop utilities required for gaps in products
• Experience with GIT
• Experience with continuous integration, build management, and automated test frameworks
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Proven Ability to Operate in Agile development process
• Experience with Java applications and related J2EE technology stack
• Restful, SOAP and OGC web service development
• Extensive experience in automated testing of web applications and web services in a fast-moving and agile environment.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure environments

Desired:

• Experience with Eclipse/Ant/Anthill/ Subversion/Git/JIRA/ Jenkins CI
• Agile experience with Scrum / Kanban / XP.
• Database knowledge Oracle/SQL Server/ PostgreSQL
• Strong understanding of system and networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques
• Experience with ReactJS and MS Azure and cloud automation experience is a plus
