Position: Core Java Web Services Engineer
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: Long Term

Job Description:

• Have the ability to work in a fast paced environment driving innovation through rapid prototyping
• Be part of a team of developers guiding on engineering best practices
• Work closely with business clients and UI designers to analyze requirements and code applications • Customize and integrate commercial software packages for both internal employees as well as external members on multiple platforms
• Maintain code integrity and quality
• Perform defect correction (analysis, design, code) on less complex issues and/or codes applications of medium complexity
• Install, customize and integrate commercial software packages.
• Work with experienced team members to conduct root cause analysis of issues
• Review new and existing code and/or perform unit testing
• Create system documentation/play books and attends requirements, design and code reviews. Understand and assists in gathering and analyzing customer requirements and may respond to outages following the appropriate processes

Required Skills:

• At least 5 years of experience with J2EE Technologies. All development will be for or have touch points with the Genesys Voice Platform.
• Experience with Web Services: WSDL, XML, RESTful
• Experience with Java technologies including Spring MVC and Spring WebFlow
• Familiarity with Java IDEs such as Eclipse or Spring STS. Familiar with Gradle, GIT, GitHUB, GITLab, etc. around continuous integration and continuous delivery infrastructure.
• Experience testing in REST services
