Job Title: Network Test Engineer (2G + 3G +4G testing and integration)

Location: Los Angeles, CA

Duration : 13 Months ( 12 Months US : California: LA and 1 Month Germany)

Primary Location: Los Angeles, CA (This will be 1 month in Germany for intense training then 1 year at the client site.)

Rate: D.O.E

Description:

· Must have knowledge and solid understanding of applications, including the OSI model, plus common network protocols and applications used by major service providers.

· Strong L4-L7 protocol experience with basic understanding of L2/L3 experience with knowledge of common routing and switching protocols.

· Understand the customer network topology and ability to trouble-shoot, identify and solve problems.

· Security device knowledge (Firewall, load balancers, IDS, IPS)

· Knowledge of VPN clients such as Cisco Any connect , SSL, IPSEC

· Good knowledge and experience with Linux scripting (Python Perl, tshark) and Test Automation through either TCL, Python, REST.

· Hands on experience in Linux operating systems.

· Ability to execute tests using Application traffic emulator is a plus

· IP network performance and associated metrics

· Networking with Unicast and multicast over TCP/UDP/IP

· Voice over IP

· Knowledge of Mobile Core Infrastructure – 3G, 4G LTE Interfaces and Components and Procedures (5G is advantageous)
