Position: Lead Java Software Engineer
Location: Louisville, KY - (Hybrid - Need Only Locals)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Mode on Interview: 1 teams call, 1 Face to Face interview must

Role Summary:
Technical ownership of product activation, STEP-FOCUS integration workflows, and system-level orchestration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead backend integration between STEP and FOCUS systems
• Guide API design, microservices structure, and config-based automation
• Mentor developers and support rollout of product activation pipelines
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps to ensure scalable, testable solutions

Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience with Java/Spring Boot and REST APIs
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Harness, Jenkins)
• Understanding of STEP MDM structures and POS automation workflows
• Experience with Bitbucket, Workshop CLI (read-only usage), SQL
