Fwd: VBI's association with NSS

Volunteer for Better India team in Mumbai has got an official letter of association from National Service Scheme (NSS). NSS is a government body operating in 270 colleges in Mumbai, working towards social development .

The students who opt for NSS in their colleges are given additional marks for completing a fixed number of hours of social projects. NSS associates with different NGO's to provide a platform to these students to volunteer.

Colleges under Mumbai University have been allocated 20 hours each, to contribute towards VBI project (which amount to more than 50 thousand hours total in 270 colleges ). 

This is a major breakthrough for us and now we can work with more and more NSS students this year and involve them in various VBI upcoming projects.

NSS recognized the good work done in Mumbai by VBI . And this association has been possible because of the team work of all teachers and volunteers who came together and contributed towards different VBI projects .

Its a success for our entire team and a new beginning for us to take Mumbai to greater heights with this association.
