***LANDFILL*** msg from Leo
TO VAYLA:

Today we have learned that Judge Clark ruled in favor of Waste
Management in State Court saying LDEQ must go through the public
process to revoke their permit.

This means if Waste Management defeats the City tomorrow, the landfill
will open.  We are calling on everyone's presence tomorrow to support
the Mayor's decision to keep the landfill closed and to have our
voices heard!

We will leave from the Church at 8:15AM.
There will be one bus. Please bring proper ID.

For those of you that does not know, Gary McMillen has been teaching us Tai
Chi before the meetings on Wednesday from 7-8.  Very relaxing.  Come join

-The Chinese characters for Tai Chi Chuan can be translated as the 'Supreme
Ultimate Force'. The notion of 'supreme ultimate' is often associated with
the Chinese concept of yin-yang, the notion that one can see a dynamic
duality (male/female, active/passive, dark/light, forceful/yielding, etc.)
in all things. 'Force' (or, more literally, 'fist') can be thought of here
as the means or way of achieving this ying-yang, or 'supreme-ultimate'
discipline.
