This was a great way to travel from Riga to Vilnius! In addition to seeing sights (the official stops described in the tour description as well as beautiful countryside between the two cities) and learning some history of the countries and cities, we were able to get a sense of current culture and life in Latvia and Lithuania through our guide, Laura. Laura was enthusiastic, entertaining, and very knowledgeable. She also gave us great suggestions for places to go, things to do, and what to eat during the rest of our time in Vilnius. We highly recommend this tour.
The tour was really good and Laura was one of the best guides I have ever had. She is very energetic and enthusiastic about her job and she is always willing to share all the information with the group. I think we spent the right amount of time in all the stops.
The driver and tour guide, Laura, had amazing knowledge, a good sense of humour and perfect organisational skills. She brought cohesion and fun to the trip.It was perfect to see the hill of crosses and Rundale palace on the journey and it would have been difficult to see those sites from either capital city.
This tour was the highlight of my Baltic trip! This tour is an amazing way to explore the countryside + the history of the places that we visit. Without doubt, this is one of the best ways to travel throughout the Baltics! If you are lucky enough , you are going to get the one and only Laura! As your guide! She is amazing, energetic, knowledgeable and really good with people! She conducts herself with such a professionalism but at the same time she is so funny and approachable! The driver and guide did an excellent job explaining sites, travel, history, and was quite proud and enthusiastic of her country. Thank you Laura for a wonderful experience. The food and restaurant selection were perfect as well at site visits.
This was a wonderful way to see the sights of Latvia and Lithuania. Even more important was getting to know a lifetime Lithuanian. Laura has an enormous amount of energy, humor, and goodwill. A great day.
The perfect way to go from Riga to Vilnius. We got to see the country-side and had several very interesting stops. Our guide, Laura, was fabulous: energetic, very knowledgeable and so much fun. Highly recommended
I needed to travel from Riga to Vilnius, but instead of just taking the bus, I decided to take this tour. Laura did not disappoint, with her enthusiastic description of sites and the related historic background. I left with memories of a great trip, new friends, and a deeper understanding of the Baltic region and its people!
This was a lovely journey.In just one day we saw several sites,some of them very hard to reach by public transport. Our guide Laura was great,very knowledgeable,very enthusiastic,she made this journey unforgettable.She is a great driver,fantastic organizer a lovely person.Everything ticked like a clock and we saw all the sites and made it to Vilnius on time
Laura was an absolute delight as our driver and guide for the day. She is fun, knowledgeable and a careful driver. She is obviously an experienced guide and her bubbly personality made us all feel welcome and wanted.
If you have a plan to visit Riga and Vilnius, this is a must tour! During the day, you will visit many stunning places during the way to Vilnius. Our guide named Daumant. He is very nice and easy going.
Booking this tour was hands down the best decision for traveling from Riga to Vilnius. Our guide Laura was amazing, knowledgeable and just a lovely and funny person. She really made the 11+ hours fly by. The stops along the way were chosen well, and Laura gave us lots of background info on the individual stops but then we also had time to just explore a little. The lunch stop was very yummy and a great location and the fact that she ordered our chosen food ahead saved us time. We travelled as a family of 3 and really can't recommend this tour enough (even our teenager had a great time :)
I can highly recommend Traveller Tours. We had a private tour from Riga to Vilnius. Our guide/driver Daumants arrived early, spoke excellent English and was delightful. He was happy to personalise the tour to our preferences and never rushed us.
We really enjoyed this tour! We don't drive, which made it challenging when planning a trip that would take us to all of the key places we wanted to visit in Latvia and Lithuania. This tour was perfect because it took us to many of those places while also moving us along to Vilnius, the next stop on our Baltic journey! Laura, our tour guide, was great. She is energetic and kept the tour moving along with the perfect amount of time to visit each place. If you unfortunately fell asleep in the car (jet lag, not boredom!), you didn't miss important details, as she saved the key facts for our stops to see the various sites. Laura somehow remembered everyone's names! There was a good variation in the types of sites we visited. A must see for us was the Hill of Crosses, and we were glad we saw it! We were also glad to visit the Salaspils Memorial and the Rundale Palace. It's hard to choose, but my favourite place we visited was Kaunas. We took this tour in December, so the Christmas Market there was a site to see, especially lit up at night!This was a jam-packed day, but a great way to travel between Riga and Vilnius and see unique sites along the way. We highly recommend this tour or the same tour in the other direction.
Our tour from Riga > Vilnius was absolutely perfect. Laura was so much fun - she was so interesting, had such great information + made the trip so lovely. We had four stops that were all EXCELLENT + we were so happy we took this tour. I highly recommend this to ANYONE who is traveling around the Baltics! The best, EVER! THANK YOU LAURA!
We had a fabulous tour! Laura was an amazing guide. She shared so much knowledge, was very flexible for our family of four, and kept us laughing and happy. This was our second city-to-city tour with this company, and I would 100% recommend it as the very best way to travel between cities and see the countryside.
It was a trip that brought us safely to Vilnius and along the way we saw the different places that have meant so much to the locals the memorial , the palace , Kausas the other capital of Lithuania and my favorite the hill of the crosses with a superb lunch at a cozy countryside restaurant by the lake that makes you want to stay. Our guide Daumants was very informative , easy to talk to and showed us all this beautiful places while telling us the histories and facts related to them. She also accommodated most of our requests . Thanks Daumants for an awesome road trip.
My sister and brother and I , we booked a private van with Traveller Tour Company from Tallinn to Riga, and then from Riga to Vilnius. We were very satisfied with the itineraries for both trips, each taking us to four interesting attractions along the way, and organizing a very pleasurable lunch. I would highly recommend this tour company because I found them to be very organized and professional. I would like to give special recognition and thanks to our tour guide, Laura, who made our trip more enjoyable due to her friendliness and energy, as well as her great knowledge regarding the history of the cities and the attractions.
I can't recommend this tour enough. We were a group of 8 women traveling together, and this transfer tour made the process of moving all of us (and all of our luggage) from one city to the other not just completely painless, but also genuinely enjoyable. Turning the day into a lovely, relaxed tour where we could get out and wander and see the incredible sights along the way turned what could have been a boring transfer day into a truly memorable part of our trip. The lunch was wonderfully chosen and really a highlight as well. Most of all, our guide Laura just stole the show. She was an absolute delight, and incredibly gracious and accommodating to our big group. I can't recommend this enough!
We had such a nice time with our guide Laura, she was super enthusiastic, gave us a lot of information, answered all our questions and gave a lot of more fun facts and interesting stories as well. It was a long but very nice day!
This is the best way to see both countries more than just the capital cities and it's the most time-efficient way. So much better than a boring bus ride if you go direct between the 2 cities. I had wanted to visit the Hill of Crosses before coming to this region, and it would have been an extra day's excursion from Vilnius if I hadn't joined this tour.It was a fantastic trip! I also had chance to visit some places that I hadn't heard of before. Laura was very friendly, enthusiastic and fun. I feel very lucky to have her as the guide.Unless you are flying or self-driving, this tour is your best option travelling between Riga and Vilnius!
I would highly recommend the one way Riga to Vilnius sightseeing tour. The tour gives you the opportunity of stopping off at places of interest between the 2 cities that you otherwise would not get to see. Everything was very well organized with a modern, air-conditioned minibus and excellent, enthusiastic guide.
The Riga-Vilnius sightseeing tour bus was a perfect way to travel between the two capitals while visiting some hard-to-reach sites in Latvia and Lithuania. The tour was the perfect balance of information offered at each site, free time for exploration, and general fun background info as we drove. Laura was SO much fun, and her upbeat personality kept us all energized for the long day. Our lunch stop was also super delicious.
Mikelis is a very friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining guide. He has an encyclopaedic grasp of the history of the places we saw en route: Salaspils Memorial, Rundala Palace, Hill of Crosses, Kaunas. Mikelis even sang Latvian songs to us!The time flew by.
A great way to transfer from Riga to Vilnius. Laura was high energy, passionate about her country and very informative. The day flew by as we visited historical and cultural sights in Latvia and Lithuania,
