Carissimi, sorry to be that slow this year!
I'm forwarding you the tests of the previous years (of course, somewhere, there should
be also midterms and finals of 2017 and 2009, but probably in another computer).
To warm up (if the weather is not enough!), try to start with the following
Lie-test Problems 2 and 3 (VERY easy)
test 2011 Problem 3 --- as Joao discovered 2 years ago, there is a dramatic mistake in the
third condition of Problem 6 --- bit the group is described in the first paragraph of that problem,
so that you still can solve it, if you know some extension theory. I have to recall, how to
correct the condition to be able to solve it using just the facts listed.
test2013 Problem 4
test-2015 Problem 5
final 2011 Problems 3 and 7
final 2013 Problems 2 and 6
final 2015 Problem 5
Enjoy! Also, you can look at other problems, many of them are one-liners, but some require some
thought (usually, there are hints then). I've TRIED to select the last versions, but there MIGHT be
still some misprints, in that case, try to look at the discussions in the group previous years.
And of course, next week you'll have some new ones, and I'll have to choose completely new ones
fo the final, no Lie algebras this year, because of different format, Lie algebras will be studied only
in the lectures.
See you at 16.45!
