Dear All, I attach two expository papers by two great classics, Bertram Kostant,

and John Coleman, on experimental occurrence of E_8 in physics (I thought,

I had pictures somewhere, but cannot find them rightaway, probably, one should

try to follow the references in Kostant's paper), and on the work of Wilhelm Killing,

respectively.
