Hi folks.
I'm Damiano Rossi from Italy and I live in Scandicci a periphery of Florence (15 minutes by tram to go to the center).
I finished my bachelor at Florence University in October and I started the master courses in September. I did a thesis in algebraic Number Theory about the Kronecker-Weber theorem with Silvio Dolfi as advisor (even though in Florence there are no exams in algebraic number theory and it is not Dolfi's field of research).
During the first three years I attended courses of Geometry I (linear algebra), Algebra I (basic algebra and ring theory), Algebra 2 (group theory and Galois theory), Algebra 3 (first part in fields theory and second part in commutative algebra),
and also cryptography, graph theory and algebraic topology (the first part in homological algebra). In the master I attended Istituzioni di Algebra Superiore (group theory) and Algebra Superiore (character theory of finite groups). The latter without the exam (I'll take the exam next September or October).
Besides math I like music. I play the guitar and I have a band called "Alma Nera". If you want you can listen to our music on our facebook page.
Kind regards,
Damiano Rossi.
