Hello,

My name is Alexandra Toma, I am from Bucharest, Romania.

I just finished my second year of undergraduate studies at Babes - Bolyai University, Cluj - Napoca (Transylvania). I had two algebra courses that covered introductory level material on vector spaces, groups and rings.

I also attended graduate level classes in Group theory, Rings and Modules, Homological algebra, Category theory and Algebraic topology. As my university is not very oriented toward algebra this too were at an elementary level. 

My advisor is professor Septimiu Crivei, with his help I am working on my thesis on the properties of regular rings, semihereditary rings and coherent rings. 

I am not yet sure in what subfield I am going to work, probably it will be some kind of algebra or category theory.

As for hobbies I am interested in philosophy, literature and film theory.
