Well, sh*t, three incidents in 34 hours.:

1) smoke in hallway on third floor of Savior building 2) Someone jammed the savior elevator lobby door from the courtyard yesterday, although we can’t determine anything other than that and 3) now this.

I think the Raleigh theft issue that Michael outlines needs a deep dive on just what the heck happened. How can the log not show how the door was opened or from where? Is it an inside job? Etc.

This is very troubling

Three packages were stolen from the Raleigh Building's lobby this morning at 5:20am.

Darlene was walking the garage this morning, saw the bathroom partially opened, notices boxes laying on the floor, and took a closer look to see if these were boxes that needed to be thrown away, and discovered that they were Amazon boxes AND one of them was addressed to us!  After a while of trying to make sense of this, she went back to our unit and started looking at video surveillance.  (I stepped in to help at some point.)

A lady entered from the Raleigh street at 1:30am by using her phone.  She was 3~5 feet from the reader, so no FOB or interaction with ButterflyMX panel.  Darlene reviewed the Aviglon(?) openpath app and so no entries recorded at this time!  There was an entry for a person earlier than this, which was on video, and a second person later on, likewise on video.  A bit of a mystery on how she had access.  Perhaps she opened the door with Butterfly by buzzing herself in or else having some else do it.  Someone needs to review the ButterflyMX logs.  We have intruder with access to the building.

The lady entered the building, went up the elevator, ended up back in the lobby at 3:50am, came out of the elevators at 5:20am, grabbed 3 packages, went back into the elevator, came out in the garage, walked to the bathroom, apparently opened the boxes, came back out empty-handed, and then exited through the Savier staircase (image above is labeled incorrectly).

These are low resolution, thumbnails images to show the sequence and to obscure the person's identity somewhat.  Any "official" image of the lady that is needed should be pulled by a Vaux rep.

If anyone wishes to see the videos and has access, these are the "camera names" and the timestamps for all of the events:

Darlene retrieved the three boxes.  

One amazon envelope is addressed to Mary Lawrence, Unit 301, and is empty.  Darlene is friends and will let Mary know.

One amazon box is addressed to David Snyder, #333, and contains two items.  Perhaps something is missing.  I will inform David.

My package is intact and accounted for.

PS  Some humor.  The thief must have been disappointed to find my package contained a colonoscopy prescription plus preparation kit.

The video of the intruder's entry shows her to be standing 3-5 feet from the callbox at 1:30AM this morning.  You may have seen my note to Tim, Joe, asking if there was a logged entry at that time.  How she entered is a bit of a mystery.

The stuffed shirt is a potential breech.

This Darlene/Michael is a likely breech.

The smoke is a violation of rules that we need to deal with.

I have included Tim M. on this thread since dealing with the smoker is going to likely be a management issue since she was approached by neighbors in the past and was...as I recall...hostile.  Tim, is there any sort of way we can prove that the resident was smoking in their apartment?

I obviously agree that this is a VERY troubling issue.  This is something we need to pursue doggedly until we have a clear answer.  It is of paramount importance that we understand exactly how someone gained entrance without that entrance being logged in the system

Has the chair and members of the Security Committee been notified of this breech (1:30 am incident)? Are they meeting immediately to discuss what steps can be taken to understand how this happened and what can be done to insure it does not happen again?

BOB is in Hawaii.  There has been no meeting called that I know of.  I think a meeting is in order, but I also think that we have to track down whatever info is on the video.
