Hi, all:
An agenda item I want to see . . .
Background:
In mid-winter, Paul and I added a new bulletin board to each elevator vestibule to give more scope to owners who want to post stuff. What we observed was an immediate doubling of the size of most items and basically hogging the available space and thereby reducing the overall space made available by the new boards.
Our current rule book mentions that we have bulletin boards available for "small signs, etc." I believe we need to update this rule on owner posted item, and here is what I propose à
* Space for signs in frames in the vestibules and elevator cars is reserved for official Association notices. No other use except by explicit permission of the BOD.
* signs must be labeled with the date of posting
* signs may be removed at the discretion of any board member
* maximum size is 8 12 inches by 11 inches; smaller sizes are encouraged.
Signs have a life expectancy, and there may not be room for successors. We don't want signage policing to involve the entire BOD at a meeting, hence individual discretion
What do you think?
