Tim (Ackley), I believe you were attempting to peruse the paperwork in the boxes in the Savier Cart Room in order to determine what we need to keep.
Please advise if this is still your gracious (😀) intention.
If so, would you kindly advise us as to the timeline.
As you are aware, we are working on organizing that room and constructing a cage along the north wall, and a timeline would be helpful, so that we can do the removal of the unnecessary and most efficiently accomplish our construction..
If you stop the perusal, it would be the current intention of those overseeing the project to discard anything beyond 7 years old.  Of course we'll stop if we are advised to stop destruction of certain paperwork.

Paul,

Yes, I will sift through the boxes and sort material into "keep" and "discard & shred" groups. I commit to finishing by January 31.

Of particular importance are documents that may be more than 7 years old but should be retained as historical documents. Most documents older than 7 years will go, but some likely will need to be retained. In total, the volume of retained documents should substantially decrease.

My work should not interfere with a timeline for the project. Board approval for a quote from a vendor will not occur until the January 21 board meeting (or later). So, it seems that project implementation will not begin until after January 21.

Tim
