I'd recommend you have an itemized list of needs/desires requiring expenditures or other Board actions in pursuit of emergency preparedness for the Vaux, and that list should be presented to the board for them to peruse, consider and vote.
Also, if that list is passed on to us, it can undergo analysis by the Board at the next planning meeting, which, I think, is February. After a planning meeting discussion, the Board will likely emerge with votes to match your suggestions.
As I said in another Email, I think the vote on the notification service can happen at the next meeting. The Board would be happiest if they had the educated ability to choose between more than one named vendor, and cost to the Vaux.
I'd suggest that list be concise, naming the items and the NTE cost and the vendor if one exists.
