Tim and/or Amanda,
I called the security consultant  you recommended.  The phone doesn't work.  I think they have a new number.  I found them online. They are an electronic security company.
On line, all I could find is electronic security companies or companies offering security guards.
Any other thoughts...for a general security expert/consultant?
Thanks,
-paul

I just sent an email to the Portland treasurers' group asking for recommendations. I will pass along any companies and consultants they suggest.

I hope they have a recommendation.  I've run out of people to talk to.  Most recommendations involve electronic systems or patrols.  Sadly, I think were gonna have to improvise...as we have been doing. I think someone from Vortec or Metro may be the best we can do.  But, I remain open, Tim.
BTW someone suggested Sunny might know someone.  All she knows are entry system folks.

So far I have received one response from the treasurers group. The name is Electronic Security Consultants in Lake Oswego. I attached the address and contact information. The company conducted an evaluation about 2-3 years ago for two buildings and a courtyard for about $3,000.

If I receive more responses, I will forward them to you.

I've received a bunch of responses recommending electronic security.  My own opinion is that that is not adequate for our needs.  I'm happy to be proven wrong.

Following is a reply from a treasurer that could be a helpful idea to consider:

"We did our own review and didn't find any consultants.  Might I mention one of the most clever items we installed was a security pin for hinges with exposed pins.  Here is an amazon version (I don't know where we bought ours).  https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CJR8WKL8?lv=shuf&channelId=500&plpRedirect=mhFallback4.  It replaces a screw in the hinge and stops the ability of removing the door if the hinge pin is exposed."

Understandable, but I don't think we have any exposed hinges...though I'll take a look.  About a month ago...maybe six weeks...I did a walk of the premises with a "security expert" from Metro.  He was supposed to follow up with me, but did not.  I have sent a note to Tim Miller to see if he followed up with him.
